Generally agree. Ambrose has stated publicly there is no release clause. I wonder if this is a case of a journalist getting wind of the old clause and making a story up. As it stands Chelsea have Madueke and Ziyech who are right wingers, have just signed a Brazilian wonderkid who is a right winger (Angelo) and Nkunko can also play there. Even in their crazy spending haze are they really going to blow another load on another winger who isn't even fit?

Generally agree. I think I would believe Darren Ambrose and his connections within the club over clickbait articles, but you never know.

Ambrose, also said ,he see,s Olise, as a £100mill player in the making, that’s as maybe , a lot might agree , some wouldn’t. He might be stretching it but investing £35 mill now would be very good business and if it was possible they would be queuing down Whitehorse Lane.

A midfielder that has licence to get forward and support the strikers.

All I would say to counter that is if you play Gallagher in his strongest position, he will look better than he has recently looked at Chelsea. Generally I agree that Olise has more potential as you can’t learn some of the skills he possesses. That's very true. I would also add however football can be very 'flavour of the month/form' driven and Conor certainly is not atm. I suppose it is supply & demand. If a team identifies Conor as very much a filler for the exact role he played for us he may well command a higher fee. If not, I suspect Chelsea will struggle to get the touted amount for him or offload him at all. We were in that position, where we needed him for exactly the role we employed him in and suited him best, and therefore may have been more easily coerced into parting with a higher fee. We no longer need him that desperately however another team may.
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

Would not be surprised if it Vieira who wants Olise in France and Chelsea would be looking to loan him straight out.

That's just click-bait, same with a lot of others who are all using this mythical £35m figure as if it was the correct & only price teams could buy him for.
This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |

I thought I read before the start of last season that Palace had re-negotiated Olise's contract to remove the £35m clause and upped his wages.
