Can't fault the effort tonight but 2 goals from open play in last 13 games (in all comps) highlights where the problem lays!

I think you guys who are supposed to be fans need to take a chill pill. You do the same thing week in week out., slagging off the manager, the teamn, Schlupp, Mateta and whoever else u can throw in the mix.

Try to be more balanced, we are mid table, we are not going to be in a relegation struggle. We have a lack of composure in front of goal and I am hopeful that both JP and Eddie can find it soon.

I think fans are always amusing but u guys are extreme. Everyone knows the best team, everyone knows we are going to be beaten, and yet you dont know anything. Having not lost, having not got a right good tonking, we move on to set pieces. Get some balance if u can.

If we played until midnight we wouldn’t have scored!
We are unfit and woefully short of quality and confidence.
When we break forward we don’t have the numbers probably down to the fitness.
What the hell do we do in training…. It definitely can’t be shooting practice or basic passing.
It’s woeful and papering over the cracks. Liverpool were very poor and there for the taking.
Our defence stood firm and was the only plus.

Seriously? Do you really think that, or do you just like the cliche?

And unfit? They got 5 yellows for hacking our players down on the attack. They should have had more, at least one of their players getting second carded.

You may be right about us scoring though

Some posts on here are hilarious , I saw the line up thought oh god if we get battered tonight we are going to be in turmoil as a fan base , but regardless what form Liverpool are in we just got a point against them and looked the better side !!!!! There is no negatives to take from tonight’s performance , it fills me with absolute optimism , I’m getting really angry with the viera haters now , maybe they weren’t there when we got battered 4-0 at home to scunthorpe about 12 years ago?

Well, only for some of the game. Both sides squandered chances. And overall, we drew because we were at home imo.

Well, I’m happy to hold my hands up and apologise for complaining most of this season about PV and his tactics/team selection. Our midfield has been the main problem and we’ve mainly played with just Dacoure holding it together. It hasn’t been easy to watch and I did think relegation was a strong possibility. I don’t think this now with our new loan signing. Finally we have Lakonga to play alongside Dacoure and the balance is much better. I can see us improving now and picking some wins up soon. Matteta in my opinion worked hard tonight and was supported by Olise or Ayew being alongside him more often. We are now pressing better with a balanced team. Better finishing and we would have won tonight. Yes, Ayew and Schlupp can be frustrating to watch with final ball and misses but they do put in a shift. Perhaps now with Dacoure and Lakonga making that midfield stronger we will begin to create more chances and the wins will come. Another good point tonight and I’m happier :-)

Our football hasn’t progressed since Roy who do you hold responsible for that?
Secondly if you do not think there were any negatives tonight what were the positives?

We got a point against a 'big 6' team. If you can't see that as a positive...

We are a mid table side, if one of our strikers can grow into the role or if we can get a bonafide goal scorer we can press for Europe. Sure, Ayew, Sclupp and so on are not from the upper echelons of the Prem, but neither are we, we are mid table.

I was there!

In fact, I seem to remember losing to them once, not sure though.
