Excitingly the other results show that there is still a lot to play for and other teams are picking up a bit of form. We need to improve on recent form, which I believe we are capable of. Still many twists and turns yet.

Not sure how you can suggest Vieira might be to blame for that result although it was sickening to concede the equaliser in the dying seconds of 6 minutes added time.

The players on the pitch have to take responsibility in that situation.

I've simply stated facts... Have we had an issue conceding late goals since Vieria became manager?.. Yes.

Are we very poor at keeping possession and do we give the ball away cheaply?.... Yes

You're quite right the players do have to take responsibility but the issues I've raised, especially the late goals conceded issue has been since Vieria took charge so that's something he needs to take responsibility for as well.

But respect the point. It happens, we did it to the Manc's.

Another step towards safety.

We go again next week.

Yes , another point towards safety. We should stop having illusions we're a 'stable top 10 club.' Every season it's a struggle for survival with a wafer thin squad. It's ridiculous to think we have no cover for Mitchell. And we have another high risk summer window when we have got to get just about everything right and spend big (for Palace) to replace a lot of aging very good performers for the club in their mid 30s. But another point towards safety.

I would certainly have taken a point before the match but that was a cruel end. Surprised (perhaps not as PV is manager) that Reidewald or Schlupp didn’t get to cover at left back. Mitchell’s injury left us open on the left for which Brentford used that side all match to attack us. Eze when on didn’t help Mitchell then Richaat all. Poor decision making from the bench after Mitchell’s injury and without getting a second goal meant the equaliser was on the cards. It was an okay performance by us deserving a draw but not a great performance in my opinion?

That's the point I was making, stop looking at goals scored and look at overall effort and input he has in games. The whole team have to shoulder the responsibility for today capitulation.....Ayew included. But the defence should have been covering.

Thoroughly predictable ending under Vierias reign.. Incapable of seeing out one goal leads.. Ayew, who for some bizarre reason was being lauded as an unsung hero about 30 minutes ago (Is it 5 goals in 100 games?) has to shoulder some responsibility for the ridiculous pass just leading up to the goal.

I find it very concerning how awful we are at retaining possession and keeping hold of the ball...
Our 10th Premiership season and we are parking the bus and scrapping for our lives against teams like Brentford.. We really are going backwards.

What input is that then? He rarely scores and rarely assists and we don't win many games... 'winning a couple of free kicks' is not a good enough reason to be starting every week.

The amount of 85th minute to 95th minute goals we have conceded under viera is ridiculous , and that is due to game management , that is managers fault , before today I had his back now I’m in rebellion however I have had a few beers

Not good enough.
Getting sucked down, the results hardly helped today.
But what should be expected in terms of fitness late on in games from the team that’s covered the least distances in games in this league ??

Totally blame Ayew. Less than a minute to go,he has possession on halfway line, Eduoard running into space on the wing, hit it into the space ahead of him, nope try a ridiculous cross field pass. Absolutely gutted, 2 points thrown away. Add to last minute Chelsea winner and las gasp Brentford equaliser at home, we should be on 31 po8nts

Whilst a draw at Brentford is a creditable result, to surrender the lead in the 96th minute is disappointing and infuriating.

Everton, Southampton and Bournemouth all winning. We have only won 1 of our last 10 PL games and it will be 1 in 11 next week after we have played Liverpool.Cause for real concern.

Last 6 games:
L D D L D D
There is some consistency there at least, but only 4 points out of a potential 18 means more needs to be done to secure the wins that would guarantee another season in the PL.

Nothing will change until vieira goes.

Clearly has his favourites in Schlupp, Ayew and Mateta. Three of the poorest players in the league let alone our squad. Eze, Hughes and Edouard should be thoroughly pissed off to be sat on the bench behind these.

1 win in 13 games is relegation form. I hope we have alternatives lined up as I don’t see PV lasting the season.
