I wonder if signing Ings will mean that Antonio will now be available.

West Ham gazumping us as usual. We do all the work lining up the players, then the Spammers move in to nick them. Every time.

Ings is well suited to West Ham. He's tended to perform best at smaller clubs throughout his career, so he should fit right in.

I'm sure Vieira would love Ings at Palace, as would I, but I can't see us paying 125k per week to someone who is over 30 and who probably can't play every week. West Ham have much deeper pockets and are in real jeopardy, so they're more likely to take a short-term approach for survival.

Since Antonio being sold is probably reliant on Ings coming in, we should all be absolutely delighted Ings has gone to Wet Sham, if indeed we are interested in Antonio in the first place.
