On the train home. Took my son with today, as he has never been to West Ham. When we scored in injury time, everyone in the away end went crazy!!! My son is still grinning -said it was a moment he’ll never forget. Trying to think of the last time we scored in injury time and won a game?! It is normally the other way round!

Benteke at Brighton? Surely you haven't forgotten that one Vince. Glad your boy enjoyed himself.

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.

A well deserved win. I only saw the second half, but all the lads put a shift in. A special mention to Schluppy this week, after giving him S**t last week, he played really well today, kept it simple and didn't get pulled out of shape. A good team performance.

Spam looked terrible lol

It's not the size of the dog in the fight, but the size of the fight in the dog.

Well done lads probably the most complete performance of the season. I thought we deserved to win it and against a club we don't normally get much luck from.

If we can get a win against Forest we will go into the WC break with good momentum.

If we go into the transfer market our likely rivals will be Southampton / West Ham / Forest and Everton it will give us a edge if we are above them.

I've just spent an entertaining half hour reading the West Ham fans' forum. Obviously a huge amount of bile for their own team (and the referee), but, to be fair, also much praise for the Palace performance, one poster going so far as to say he "envies" our forward line. But yet again several of them can't resist that old line, i.e., "being outplayed by Crystal f****ing Palace". That's what I most enjoy when we beat a team whose fans obviously have a sense of entitlement.

Vieira must be very happy with our progress now.

All we need is to turn our undoubted talents into more goals.

If we do that we will stay top 10.

Schluppie really deserves his place. Top performance today.

I’m a huge fan of the Jeffrey.

I still feel like there’s a time and a place for him however if PV can turn him into a ‘proper’ CM that would be a great proposition.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

Lampard would have called it a fluke goal (and Wilf's in the first half would of course have been average).

Commenting on WH's penalty shout, Antonio felt or saw an arm come across his chest so he very clearly decided to fall dramatically to the ground. VAR saw that and decided it was not a penalty, so why on earth wasn't Antonio carded for cheating?

Exactly thought Palace had 2 good penalty claims, on Eze for shirt pull and Rice on Zaha just before Ayew was booked for diving. Neither seemed to be looked at

But at lease several have called out their players for cheating

Mate - we’re 9th..!!

Talk about glass half empty our rivals are Brighton, Fulham, Brentford, Villa, Leicester and probably West Ham to finish 8th..!! Can’t see us breaking into the top 7 at this point.

But Southampton, Everton and Forest - really - they’ll be scrapping it out in the bottom 6 - which we won’t be anywhere near..!!

If we have a good window can seriously us finishing 8th..!!

Come on PV and COYP

Knew we would win as soon as I read Paul Merson say we would not win away all season
