That second half was awful. It felt like he was playing for a draw the subs poor again.

I thought we were the better team but for the 20 minute spell after half-time. Despite not scoring I also think that was Wilf's best game in ages. I don't remember him losing the ball much, he beat his man often and created chances for himself and others. My MOTM. I also thought Clyne had a good game, although I can't think of anyone who was that bad. Andersen's passing went astray second half, but overall the defence managed Burnley's attack really well. A point does more for us than it does Burnley, but it's a shame not to take three as I think we just about deserved them.

Happy with the point but still don’t understand the starting line-up.

That ones on Viera all day long. Luka before Hughes or Kouyate is just weird and dropping Mateta after the other night another strange one.

Really poor selection by PV today and backed up by poor subs. If Kouyate had started I think we would have won today

I don't have any problems with PV's selections today generally. I assume he's managing time for Stoke Tuesday to a certain extent. Still, today was a good effort against the usual thuggish Burnley. 4 out of possible 6 is not too bad.

As was starting without a striker. Oh well. A point. Edited by NE14T (26 Feb 2022 5.00pm) Edited by NE14T (26 Feb 2022 5.00pm) 2 days between Watford game and today. Some players need longer than others to recover. Doubt either Hughes or Macca have the legs to play in both. This is why you have a squad.
