Was a bit taken aback that nobody posted he had scored YT, to make it 1-0! Nothing, zero, zilch, nish! I have never seen a thread here when we go 1-0 up, and nobody at all comments, but they do when he misses that would have made it 2-0! Then nothing, or maybe one, saying he gets the second! Baffling!

Today could have been so different. If Connor sticks that one away then 0-2 after 12 mins and we were all over them like a rash. Roll on 10 mins we are behind after failing yet again to defend set pieces. In the end of the day we ran out of steam 2nd half and I will take a point.

great game to watch I think, I did watch it, but the triangle between center half's and goalkeeper looks uncomfortable, being saying that Guaita makes it hard for Center half's, more shoot stopper than dealing with crosses or shouting at his defence.

dont take me wrong he has made some great saves but all his mistakes come from crosses(forget Kanes goal) i think Butland maybe a better choice at the moment, lets get some trust in the triangle we need it.

but the real upside another 3 goals scored at this rate we will have over 60 goals by the end of the season, ok maybe let in over 50 we can stop that

A 6 out of 10 performance with sloppy play leaving a feeing of a draw being about right.
The midfield balance didn’t look right in the absence of Mcarthur.
I don’t believe a midfield featuring both Luka and Kouyate will work playing the way Vieira is trying to play.
Burnley are effective out what they do and clearly unsettled our defence through crosses, set pieces and physical pressure, but few teams now play that way in the Premier League.

Only 4 teams have less wins than us, but only Liverpool and Chelsea have fewer defeats.

We've been on the end of at least 3 disappointing draws, so it feels like we could be even higher. But then again, only Norwich is hopeless this year. In the past few years, there have been at least 3 really terrible teams that were almost guaranteed to go down. We don't have that luxury this season. And "top" teams like Man U, Tottenham, and Arsenal are giving away points to lower teams. I think we will need at least 40 points, maybe more.

Are you Willo in disguise? Why shouldn’t be comfortably get 40+ points we’re in track for 50+ the way we are going

I must admit the table looks very appealing at the moment.

Everyone knows that Burnley press high and have excellent crossing and heading abilities, so we obliged by providing them with chance after chance with freekicks and dreadful clearances and to top it off we constantly played out from our goal line of all places against a team that everyone knows gets in your face, we were very very lucky to get a point out of a game we should have comfortably seen off and what worried me more then anything else is we just continued in the second half as if all the dreadful moments in the first half hadn't happened.

All I will say is Burnley are masters at buying cheap free kicks in dangerous areas, up to the refs to become aware of it. The way they tried to get Benteke sent off was outrageous and should be highlighted

On the politics i just like to point out when I see major theft by our sitting gov Eagle, just in case the workers were at work and missed it. On the Benteke front, I was rather suprised, reading here, nobody even commented "yes", or" get in", or 1-0, nothing at all, only that he missed a chance that would have made it 2-0! Strange that, don"t you concur?

The site was a crock of sh1te for about 20-25 mins at the start of the match and it was well nigh impossible to post anything.

I was wondering why even Sprites hadn"t posted from New Zealand on bennys goals, that would explain it!

37/38 points needed at most.
We’ll get there with games to spare.

It's pretty simple. If you defend as poorly as we did then you won't win games so I guess a draw is a good result based on that.

Zaha was poor today. Gallagher looked knackered which isn't surprising.
I'm hoping that Andersen just wasn't at 100% as I thought he was dreadful today.
Great save by Guaita at the end.
At the end of the day we didn't lose which is the main thing.

We have to sort out our defending at set pieces though. I thought maybe it was down to bad luck at first but it's clearly a problem for us

Very good summary.
