Lewis Hamilton has conducted himself with much integrity during this farce. I don't suppose there's much that can be done but it's a bit of a body blow.

Arise SIR Lewis Hamilton . . .
This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |

I agree with you steeleye about how the outcome was arrived at. It was farcical and it made F1 look like an amateur production. My contention is that Hamilton and Mercedes have dominated for 8 years, including this year as Constructors, and it is refreshing to see Verstappen with Red Bull dent their armour and their arrogant attitude. A whole lot of changes next year so it'll be interesting to see how that pans out. So it's ok to 'fix' the rules when it's the underdog? Just so that we get a different winner? That is what you are saying. A win is a win, as long as it fits the agenda. The problem with that is that, sometimes the rules get changed against you, and you then have no defense. Like the advantage not given to Palace in the FA Cup final. But I doubt that you agreed with that change in the rules. But I assume you know that. You ain't stupid.

F1 not convincing anybody. F1 for everybody, is an immense money-pit. For motor racing you need a guide to bankruptcy. Credit to those teams who must be racing entirely out of love as it is unlikely they will win anything. And now this I think there will be withdrawals. And Lewis? He has achieved mote than anyone before, quit while you are ahead imo. .
