Certainly, she's someone talented and just getting on with it. To be honest if I hadn't read the identity stuff I'd have not even considered anything other than that she's a talented British tennis player. As many 'English' people identity as 'British' anyway, and Emma is a high achieving ambassador for our nation, and will be perceived as such in and outside of the UK. Well done, Emma! Very much doubt it, doubt she has any time for any other sport than tennis, although if she was in to football, my guess would be man utd, just a hunch. She wore red and blue so why not.

Possibly her opponent will win that.

Fabulous match - what a star this young woman is! She hit some majestic shots to win the US Open. She didn't exactly breeze through, her opponent put up quite a fight, but to win an Open without dropping a set in the entire tournament is one hell of an achievement. She is going to make a fortune, sponsors will be queuing up to sign her. Not only for her tennis either. A very attractive and charismatic young lady who will grace many a front page I suspect. Mr Parish, you should invite her to Selhurst for our next home match. Show her a real Holmesdale welcome.
Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled. |

In Romania the bats eat you , in China they eat the bats. *yes I know Vampire Bats are not found in Romania. Fair play to her though. Bet she’s glad she has those A-Levels to fall back on too!
