Clickbait "Palace in Pole position to Sign Celtic Striker" Or if you prefer "Palace join race to sign Brighton target" Both articles claim we are in for Edouard and are ahead of Brighton, but they then say we haven't tabled a bid. So how can we be making progress if we haven't even made an offer.

Edouard makes sense, he can play striker and winger if needed. Only thing that worries me is that the scottish league is such a lower standard then the prem!

Having said that I haven't seen a single reasonably reliable source even hint that we have an interest in Edouard, so either we aren't interested or we've managed to keep our interest well hidden.

His reported wage demand, £85,000 p/w, would make him the third highest earner at Palace but he is a skilful player and can score goals.

Surely that is the record Scottish transfer.

I’m not sure I believe that the player is on £85k a week. That would make him the highest earner in the league, wouldn’t it?
