He’s resigned. Bet his missus is looking forward to having him around the house a bit more.

According to the DAILY MAIL he’s also walked out on his wife

Absolute prize prick. Fed up with his hangdog face and constant attempts at podium ‘banta’

Now I know why he’s been looking so smug for the last few months. Smarmy b******. Should have been sacked months ago.

Boris his usual dithering blusterf***ing self - either too wet to sack him or hanging on for dear life for a scapegoat to fire after he’s finally sanctioned the delayed COVID report in 2028

Why oh why is there no decent opposition leader. Sad state of affairs when this Etonian Mess is able to reign with complete impunity

Underplaying this massively

It’s karma for his public attack on the Sage Scientist after his lockdown breach with his side salad

I’m sure we could all compare situations to come up with discrepancies to argue an ideological point that got resolved years ago, but you’re comparing the wrong ones in this instance.

Series of massive cock ups, no f***s given, finally skewered, and how. Delightful

Suspect Johnson is pretty gutted because of the scape-goat reason. Needed just a couple of months out of him.

And Hancock gets his wish. Sails off into the sunset as just another Tory adulterer with a career still ahead of him. As opposed to a disgraced Health Secretary with the shame of Covid hanging around his neck.

A master class in someways.

Alas you may be right

The fact that he’s allegedly walked out on his wife shows some sort of forward thinking, and confidence, that he’s got a plan

Could have used some of that last March

If he has now left his wife because of this then it is 100% staged. No ifs or buts. Be interesting to see if he actually shacks up with the lady he was photographed with.

He will slink off to the back benches and hope he is rehabilitated before next GE and gets reselected by the local constituency .

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

I think the statement by Hancock was a distortion of (my) assessment of the situation. He didn't resign over putting his knob into someone other than his wife. His position wasn't untenable because he broke lockdown rules.
Hr had to resign, because Boris couldn't sack him.
What got my gander, was he gave a well-paid job to a woman who was his 'mate'. I'd like to see how the selection process went for other candidates for that job,...and she's still there.
Much like the way contracts were issued for PPE and other services during Covid. Jobs for the 'boys' and 'girls' , where tendering processes were bypassed.

If I was a Headteacher and employed a senior member of staff, based on the fact I was shagging him/her, then quite rightly I would be held to account.

Hancocks spunk bucket needs to go too.,...oh, she's gone

Now let's review how these Covid contracts were awarded and how successful they were,

Boris was defending the likeminded. Someone who doesn't give a f*** about fidelity, rules or principles. AKA the typical politicians MO.

I must admit though, I did find Hancock's 'sorry for not social distancing' type apology beyond grossly offensive to his poor wife. Unless he has some kind of legitimate reason to hate the woman it's beyond weasel behavior.
