I didn't expect us to offer much against Liverpool but I thought we'd go at Burnley tonight, especially considering their injury problems. Nope. God how bad was that? Incapable of stringing together any decent play for 90 minutes. Sick to death of Wilf stopping play dead and then passing sideways. Josh Brownhill and Phil Bardsley schooled him yet he wants to play CL football?

Roy doesn't trust his wider squad, it's as simple as that. When we win, fantastic. But when we're losing, he cannot switch to a Plan B. It was absolutely criminal today that at 75mins (and onwards until the end of the game) we had 3 x CDMs still on the pitch. Even the Meyer sub, he could have taken off McArthur or Luka and kept Townsend on to make us more attacking. Or also put on Pierrick. We used 2 of 5 available subs today. Poor poor performance today and it will only get worse if Roy doesn't learn what rotation is.

Disgraceful performance. Zaha clearly still injured. Didn’t take anyone on all night and looked scared of running for fear of his calf would go. Miss Benteke a lot especially against a physical side like Burnley. Huge slice of luck for their goal but we were poor. Meyer showed some class but like end product. McArthur best player for is again. Another wasted opportunity for Roy to give some youth a chance. Flash forward 2 years and Pierrick and Mitchell are being released. At 65mins Pierrick should be coming on when chasing the game. Riedewald to start next Saturday. We lack a final pass and someone to release Wilf. Poor overall.

Not much to enjoy being a Palace supporter these days. Remember when we used to think the aim of football was to be creative and excite. Long time since I’ve seen that on a regular basis at Palace.

It is obvious we have massively overperformed Time, surely, to have a re-think and give the youngsters a go. Unfortunately we have a manager who will not experiment, is stuck in his unadventurous ways and concentrates on a tight defence omitting to find a capable midfield let alone an efficient striker. Tonight we rushed around like headless chickens, played the ball mostly sideways or lofted balls to a diminutive No.9 (who should have been sent off) Will things change, I doubt it?

Total and utter rubbish. It was one of those games that encapsulated all our deficiencies. Inability to put the ball in the net, lack of midfield creativity, poor passing, general lack of imagination in our play, and not being able to adapt and change our game when things are running against us.We've seen them on and off all season but they were there in abundance tonight.

God that was awful. I don't think I saw any effort from anyone out there tonight.

Hugely frustrating. Only showed any urgency going forwards in the last 10. Now there's absolutely nothing to play for I hope some of those on the margins get given some decent game time. Meyer and Riedewald should be given some games... at least they can pass the ball! Who knows maybe even a youngster. Poor from Guaita tonight, only really had one thing to do and messed it up. Who'd be a keeper eh! Leicester and then Chelsea next. Easy peasy!

At the beginning of the season I (like many) moaned at the lack of creativity in the squad. It was full of defensive midfielders. We are ok when we go 1-0 up, struggling when it’s the other way round. Not sure what Roy could do. We have 2 strikers and one injured. Why the hell did we loan 2 out and leave ourselves with 2? Youngsters possibly. May not have done any harm, but I can see why it wasn’t risked. Thankfully we are all but mathematically safe, because with the games coming up, we may only manage another 2-3 points.

Safe from relegation 1-0 an outside chance of European football so why take a striker off and put a mid fielder on? A great chance to take gamble with the youngsters as a plan B but we just get the same tactics whoever we play. Europe has gone now and probably a good thing with the ageing and injury prone squad we have I'm hoping but not expecting to see some youngsters played in the remaining games
