We actually had more shots on target than Spurs and only 2 less shots on goal.

To all those saying this result is ok because we are not a top 6 side, I in disagree. Beyond the score line is the manner of the loss. In this league you can not live by this principle. It’s an up or out league. Weakest point in the defense is joe ward. Can’t defend and can barely pass!

Camarassa has to be in that starting 11 soon. He is probably the only player we have who can pass the ball 10 yards.

Our ability to misplace a 5yard pass is almost laughable at times. Townsend, Kouyate and Sakho with some howlers today although most were guilty at some point.

It would be good to get Camarasa a bit more into the fold. Couldn't quite understand why he was stuck out on the left when he came on today as Schlupp was pretty much playing on the right of the central 3 midfielders! Hopefully that's not the plan going forwards.

Overall obviously a disappointing day and we were brushed aside by a clinical Spurs side. Only positive I guess is Sakho and Tomkins getting back to some sort of fitness - though the former certainly looked understandably a little rusty.

After next week we'll have a better idea of how this season is going to pan out.

Because Kelly, Dann and Tomkins are all injured. Who would you have played ? Postman Pat

Postman Pat has been sacked, not 'gender neutral' enough, ergo, we couldn't play him.

I think we need to be realistic and say that Spurs are playing extremely well and would have given just about anyone else a hard time today. Our plan was basically shot to pieces after 10 mins. Sakho looks seriously rusty and wouldn't normally be expected to be playing and the rest of the defence is struggling to cover him. That said Spurs have had 4 shots on target and scored from them all.

It's going to be just one of those days. Minimise the damage. Accept no points and get on with next week.

In hindsight maybe this game wasn't the one to bring him back. However long term I'm pleased he is there. Suspect 4th place will be the highest we get this year. The acid test will be next Sunday against Wolves who have also taken a panning today. The Spuds and Chelski have woken up. Wolves have a mid week European game and don't look as great in the league as last year. Just need a response but will be a nervy one. at least the Weeds got pegged back at the death, who haven't won at home since March. COYP !!

It was a poor performance all round really, hard to take any positives, we barely looked like scoring and the defending was awful. However I do think that we will improve against Wolves

Just got back from the game and what a poor performance overall. 3 points at home to Wolves next is a must. Camarasa should have started in my opinion.

What a contrast - Norwich vs Man City first half.
