Be inventive Roy! Same poor show, wouldn’t expect anything less at this point. Maybe we will have the classic palace second half and get going, but who knows It is quite pitiful really. The cold, hard reality of what the season will likely be like, but then with Roy's apparently uninspiring approach to the season should we be surprised. A season of holding out for draws.

The only thing is, if you were to go back to threads on most of the away games last season you'd probably be reading exactly the same thing at half-time - how awful we are, can't pass, Benteke woeful, Hodgson out, etc. And then , somehow we get the break in the 2nd half and run out winners...so don't give up yet.

Do feel for the guy but he needs to be more aggressive and dig in
