I will very gladly take the point, but the end of that match shows what's wrong with this team at home - as soon as we're asked to actually attack another side and go and win the game, we lose all intensity.

Fair result. Couple of positives Ayew looked a lot better and Meyer looks stronger and fitter should be more of an influence this season.

Verdict Zaha's temper actually better than ever today which I felt was interesting. Even that little thing with Mina at the end is a situation where he would normally kick off. Meyer was better than I am reading here. Felt he actually looked like a footballer today. Back line was solid considering our injuries. Benteke needs to try harder (whats new?) Guaita is the keeper we've needed for the last few years. Happy with the point - Onwards and Upwards!
