Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!! |

Blimey I spent all those years just making excuses, despite the fact I kept myself in shape and played Rugby for The Met..... According to grumpy I should of eaten properly at 11.30am before I left at 12 to get to work and gone all the way through until 11pm without anything to eat!!
the other thing is you drink throughout the day right like coffee/tea etc well add some double cream rather then milk you are set. Originally posted by Rudi Hedman
I listed those meals because everybody recognises them and in the job or jobs we’re talking about they need energy and carbs. Alternatively you could make a frittata full of Mediterranean vegetables which is zero carbs and eat it cold when you need it, but you’ll be having a headache later on. I tried the Atkins diet years ago to see what it was like. Fvck that. There’s plenty of options other than the student grub I mentioned, but as a dinner when you’re on the go for 8 hours plus they’re certainly acceptable.
I see you are offering easy options which is good but it's still the wrong stuff to be eating. veg is not zero carbs who ever tells you this is lying that is what veg is carbs/water if you are having headaches shows again incorrect diet. Atkins is a fad keto is proper one to do if your into that sort of thing and if you want to eat our proper diet carnivore is the correct way. Edited by grumpymort (14 Aug 2019 8.44pm)

if fat adapted it not that hard. this is the thing i was like a lot of you in here many years ago and when i played football this is what we was told eat good carbs many years later started having health issues so switched it's best thing you can do for your health and especially for energy. it really opens your eyes to what we have been told is so misleading and false. if all these fat people did proper low carb like keto the correct way the weight would come off and they would feel so much better but they don't want to, dr don't help neither do the likes of so called diet experts feeding false balanced diet bs.

Edited by grumpymort (14 Aug 2019 8.44pm) Dietician you are not. People in active jobs like emergency services and working in production or stacking shelves overnight need carbs. That is a fact. Or do you also think the club canteen at beckenham doesn’t exist because they should all be able to wait and eat at 7am and 7pm only and never eat a string of spaghetti or grain of rice? Your view on what the human body needs when it’s burning 500 to 1,000 calories in a day more than the average person is quite ridiculous. I’m not talking about huge amounts of carbs but they are needed. Humans evolved as hunters and foragers, so not much physical exertion there. Then came farming and later came industry. With you starving yourself I’m not surprised you have these strange opinions. You’re probably a secret eater and don’t practice what you preach anyway, like it’s some sort of achievement not eating all day. I feel very light headed, fatigued and as if I’m starting to feel unwell if I don’t eat by 2pm, yet your answer is to put cream in my coffee all day until dinner at night time. Ha ha ha. Tell us what you secretly eat during the day, when r how lean and toned you are, like a male catwalk model. Edited by Rudi Hedman (15 Aug 2019 10.22am)
