23 is too much. I'd say there are plenty of cheaper strikers: - Ajeti is EXACTLY at the same level as Chalov and at a similar age and moved from Basel to West Ham for 8 million today!! - Mbwanna Samatta is 10 million, 26 yo - Roger Assale is 5-10 million, 26 yo - Baghdad Bounedjah is 27 yo, 10-12 million - Embolo, 22 yo, 12 million - Antonio Colak, 25 yo Croatian, 2-3 million - Moussa Kone, 22 yo Senegalese, 5 million

Reports are now that a 23 mill bid was made yesterday but Palace have not been told if it has been rejected or accepted. Basically we are on hold listening to Russian Greensleeves.
