It's in our hands (maybe) we roll over against Cardiff and send the Weed down.

If only it were that simple?

I was at the game and Brighton were awful. Cardiff seemed to want it more. Apart from Murray shooting just over the bar and heading against a post at the death, Cardiff were very comfortable. Mendez-Lang's goal halfway through the first half was an absolute cracker.

Hearing the locals talking before the game, they were very nervous about relegation and some were very scathing about Chris Hughton and his tactics of late.

After the game the home fans were sounding as if they are resigned to being relegated and wishing Chris Hughton was given the old heave ho. They were angry and frustrated after seeing their team play like a bunch of demoralised strangers whereas they saw that Cardiff are scrapping for every point.

Brighton have now lost four league games in a row, three of them at home, without scoring a single goal.

After what I saw tonight, if I was a betting man, I would put money on Cardiff beating the drop.

Oh to see Brighton relegated!
Other than their home game against Newcastle I can't see them getting another point this season and even that game is no pushover other than Newcastle are pretty safe.
Cardiff could get one more win and stay up - happy days if they do!

This could be the one thing that cheers up what has been a pretty poor home season.

Tbh I think Brighton will sneak a win along the way and stay up, but we can but dream. I would love to Br13ghtin down especially if we gift them 3 points to do it .

Roy is far too noble to field a weakened side at Cardiff. I'm all for nobility normally but on this particular occasion I'd much rather "dear Roy" was actually just "smarmy c*nt"

He's already gifted them 6 points.
They've pretty much be gone by now.

Brighton would be in even deeper poo poo had the officials done their job correctly in the Cardiff - Chelsea game. Something very dodgy happened there imho.

Brighton on their worst losing streak in 12 years, 5 on the bounce. Hughton has lost the dressing room, watched it last night, they were dire, no fight or passion. They made Cardiff look good, Warnock and Blackwell will keep them motivated, they deserve luck to go their way now, after been cheated by some diabolical refereeing.

The season may have a silver lining, after all.

..they have had a lot of weird incidents this season the biggest of course being a certain airplane, the fact they are still in with a shout shows what a wonderful job Warnock is capable of doing.

Hughton is a brilliant manager, like us the squad he has to work with is letting him down at the worst moment.

Hughton has limited tactics. That is a big part of the problem. He is not brilliant. Well maybe he is for a certain amount of time until he gets worked out or it just won’t happen any more at the club he’s at, just like all the rest these days. Because they’re so toothless upfront it’s exposing Dunk etc for how sh1t they are. I like the tantrum photos after each goal they concede. Ha ha. Championship ready?
