He played around 1000 minutes in 14 games last year and scored 5 although Everton was playing with Sam’s dull tactics. He probably does not match with Everton’s strategy thus he is out of main squad, this happens in football. But imho, true he may mot be a saver but he is 10+ goal a season guy.

I’ve always liked the style of Jack Marriott at Derby who reminds me of a Jamie Vardy type player in that he’s energetic and relentlessly hassles opponents. Should Derby not get promoted I think attempting to buy him and a season loan for Batshuayi would be great business. I wouldn’t be opposed to bringing Bolasie back as a means of boosting our squad but am aware that he might not be the player who left us. Nonetheless, he’s a dynamic winger which is a position we need strengthening PLUS he’s relatively cheap. On this note, Victor Moses anyone?! Clearly no prospects at Chelsea, might be able to buy at a reasonable price and would be a great attacking midfielder option. Just not clear over the Chelsea transfer ban issue. Finally, with Souare leaving, there’s a need to fill the gap of ‘second choice left back’. Either develop an U23 by integrating them into the first team or look at using our second loan to bring in a youngster from a ‘top 6’ club. I’m saying this blind without being aware of who there might be! In summary:

If Palaces wages were £118m last year and you can have an increase of £7m per annunm then we can have a maximum wage spending of £125m this year. We have got the following off the books this year with guesstimated salaries per week: Williams £10k If we sell Sorloth and Reidewald then that must be about £100k a week combined. That's roughly another £19m per annum on wages so a total increase of £26m p/a. I appreciate this is massively over simplified but that should give us roughly £500k a week increase in allowed wage spend this year. Obviously you'd have to expect that £100k p/w will probably go to current player increases in wages through new contracts etc and that figure has to include bonus payments too. So on this basis, theoretically, we should be able to spend money on players with combined weekly wages of £400k per week this year. I'm not sure how much cash we have for spending on player transfer fees, but this year could be the first year for a while where realistically we could bring in a few new names without being quite so hamstrung by FFP.

He is the kind of in-between player who is not prolific, fast or strong enough to hack it as a starter at the top level. Everton currently have Richarlison and Calvert-Lewin ahead of him, with Walcott and Lookman more attractive subs. they probably want rid but he cost 27 million and is still on contract for a couple of years. I guess if they want a swap with Wickham...

The fact is that I have been to 17 home games this year and my forward expectation threshold became very low Just i visualized him putting some of our terrible missing in the net.

Ridiculous two average defenders Nelson I'd take along with welbeck or Maitland niles and cash but that's never gonna happen I think something like this will happen though as I can't see anyone paying 70 odd mill for wilf so money and swap could happen

If we aspire to be a top ten club we need to keep our three quality players Sakho AWB and Zaha and sign Batshuiyi or Tosun and a quality midfielder such as Grealish so we can stop giving the ball away. I remember a certain old time manager saying,"If we have got the ball they cannot score"
