Just seen a comment on the BBC that as long as we have a deal sheet (whatever that is) with the FA by 11pm we have a further 2 hours to complete the paperwork. So don't despair until 1am.

West Ham really wanted Batman but needed to get rid of one of their strikers . Luckily this didn't happen and we benefit from it .

I really hope Roy was consulted and actually asked if he would play him. Can you imagine the scenes of he’s consistently left on the bench

Big signing. Be interested to see what the final deal is. Will we have to pay Chelsea a few million plus pay his £160k p/w wages? Will we get first refusal at end of season? I was initially concerned he wanted to go to Spurs but reflecting on this it is understandable and in a way shows he believes in his ability and wants to play at the highest level. Sure the deal info will be released soon...

Chelsea tries to offload him to all and sundry. No takers at the price. I know we will give Palace a well. They specialise in taking strikers on loan that don’t score and prefer those that play once and then are injured for the rest of the loan period. Loic Remy anyone.

He is not injury prone and is still early into his career. Remy the complete opposite, money grabbing mercenary....

We must have the worst scouting system on the planet. Every Tom Dick and Harry doesn't want him so gets driven to Palace and put on out laps.

Guys we're safe if this goes through, I'm positive! Imagine this team ripping through the premier league: MacArthur, Kouyate, Luka Townsend, Ayew, Zaha Subs: Schlupp (55 minutes sub when losing) Cannot wait! I nominate this for post of the transfer window.
