Laugh at it all you want but what the EU has done to our fishing fleets is a disgrace. I think the EU has been great... for the Spanish and French fleets. But you are right I keep hearing that our fishing industry isn't worth much, duh that's because the EU destroyed it and our politicians allowed it. Fishing may never rival Finance but for certain parts of our country it was and can be again a major employer (in that area). Our seaside towns are dying fishing can be one of the drivers in their regeneration.

So you don't have an opinion. How queer. How queer that you think it queer I believe the whole point of science is when you don't know, don't guess. Keep an open mind. I try to maintain a scientific viewpoint. I know that's peculiar, almost as if I DO believe in experts. Whatever next.

Don't forget about the Dutch and their illegal pulse trawling the EU have been turning a blind eye to under the guise of "research". The EU parliament (the only elected bit of the EU) actually defied the EU commission and voted to completely ban it, but it's going through appeals and still being carried out.

I didn't know that I have no real knowledge of our fishing industry and their problems beyond the obvious that we don't control our waters. Once we have control I hope that we have a sensible policy I am not against other countries fishing provided it doesn't disadvantage our fleet and as long as they pay for the privilege.

Maybe it's all Greek. I think Greek means something else to Cucking. Something about the ancient Greek mentoring style.

The French seem to want to remain. Fishing UK waters, I mean. Also some guff about The Rock. But no news there.
Systematically dragged down by the lawmakers |
