Well I already sit in block E row 23 AND I have a music degree so does that mean my seat is guaranteed now....??

Seriously though, what the club is "offering" us is exchange for being turfed out of our seats after years with no guarantee of where or when we might able to renew for next year would be laughable if it wasn't just totally ridiculous instead...

Had my letter - called box office & asked if they could guarantee 4 seats together - NO !!!!!! Whilst we get “priority” we may have to sit in different rows

And I know people near me who have been in the same seats since the stand was built

So Inclusive singing area, actually means,..Exclusive

Singing will be banned in all other areas, offenders will be ejected from the stadium and banned for life (not sure what will happen to sway fans who dare to sing)

This will mean that HF and Parrish can say it’s omly HF who sing, and they are the only real supporters

I don't think so. Listen to SP interview with the FYP podcast. It's clearly going to be the HF taking those seats....

In that case I was lied to by the Box Office. Who’d a thought it.

Or.......

get everyone going with a rousing chorus of that good, old, protestors favourite "We shall not be moved"

At least with a vocal protest it will come over on the TV transmission, and maybe a banner or two to go with it - just to prove that the HF aren't the only ones who can do displays....

Perhaps someone could hang a picture from the Holmesdale Upper balcony, just over block E, of Parish's backside doing a dump on the people below.

Why not put all the seats in the LH up for grabs at the beginning of next season. Block off a thousand in the middle explicitly for singers. Then do the same each season. In the picture above no one ws ever guaranteed a place on the terraces. Match by match

You're not guaranteed ONE seat, let alone 4. And get priority over who? The rest of the 400 displaced E Block, all vying for the same seats? This will be a bunfight, and it's a shocking way to treat any loyal supporter, let alone 400 of them. Or us, I should say.

In Parish's own press release just 6 weeks ago, he said nearly 100% renew in the Lower Holmesdale, and about 92% elsewhere in the ground. By my calculation, that's about 800 seats dotted around all 4 sides of the ground, becoming free for the 400 to apply for on 22nd April (which is Easter Monday btw, when presumably the Box Office will be closed). Most of those will be at the back of the Arthur and are free because nobody wants to sit there regularly. So it's expected that E Block fans will meekly accept "sacrificing" (his word) their best seat in the house for the chance of a seat that nobody else wants?

This is his statement dated 2nd Sept 2018

Would Parish have become a millionaire if he'd treated his loyal customers this way? I doubt it.

It's shameful and he knows it.

"We explained to the Fanatics that we felt it would be hugely unfair and disruptive - as well as potentially cause a great deal of ill feeling towards their group - if we pressed ahead. Instead, we promised that we would revisit this once the Main Stand was rebuilt"

"...unless 100 supporters at the centre of block E would like to give up their seats voluntarily on the basis that the club will do its very best to find them alternatives, there is no real prospect of facilitating their wish of a move to the centre of Block E at this time"

"We remain open to any ideas and sensible solutions that do not disadvantage our other valued supporters"

So what changed in two months Parish? Possibilities are that the Main Stand isn't going to be rebuilt anytime soon (he's already started making noises on that score) or he's scared of the HF, plain and simple; frightened for his own safety.

Can't believe what is happening to the club I've supported since 1961/62 season.

I've seen some really bad times over those years but we, as fans, stuck together.

I actually thought we as a club were on the up,5/6 years of Premier League, apparently in the black, new stand in the pipeline,Dyson dryers in toilets ..now that is posh

A group of Palace fans, who already had their own area and were great with what they added to the atmosphere, decided they wanted to move, have now got a singing section ( how pathetic ) at the expense of other Palace fans.

Fan against fan is now a new low for us.

What a shame that this could not have been sorted out through discussion between the club, the HF and other fans in the LH. But since it was not, the club should have stuck to their original position.
Without doubt the u-turn is due to the Main Stand redevelopment and possibility of a standing section receding into the distance.
It is more than shameful. The original statement was correct. Forcing 100 loyal fans to move would have been unfair. Now it is extended to 400. I’m sure this is only to perpetuate the lie that it is being done to create a larger “singing section” rather than to advantage one group of supporters over another. When only 100 or so of these seats have been taken up will the others be offered back to their original holders, even if they have accepted a worse seat elsewhere in the interim?
It’s a mess, is likely to get very ugly and has the potential to cause long term damage to the relationship between the club and its loyal fans, whether they sit in Block E or not.

Or the hf are threatening to release the naked pictures they have of him!
