Ah, so you did. My apologies. I imagine between Kavanaugh and Judge they would have a fair idea. Unless it was just so unremarkable in their teenage lives.

Excuse me, but how the hell do you know she'd drunk no alcohol?

I would add to that maybe she genuinely believes she is telling the truth. Maybe the incident happened as described, maybe it was just a minor teenage tussle that her memory has exaggerated. Maybe she is combining 2 incidents people together etc.

I do believe that something happened and quite possibly he was the involved. I also believe that this is being politically manipulated if not be her by others.

This is the whole thing in a nutshell. He comes across as a bit off a wrong 'un, she comes across quite genuine, but there is absolutely no way you can be sure what happened all those years ago, and that doesn't necessarily imply anyone is lying - they may both genuinely believe their version of events. The tough part it's what you do about it : do you bar the guy from this job because he may have done something, or treat him as innocent until proven guilty, and that's what i don't know

By him or her? Or both? Or neither?

Gosh, really? Now why didn’t I think of that?

Or indeed Kavanaugh and his advisors?

"A wrong 'un"? The committee hearing deduced he got drunk at high school parties and joked with his friends about farting.

It's quite obvious: people are innocent until proven guilty.

But it's you who speaks in absolutes here.

So the mockery is on you.

To speak with any certainty about any of this is plainly ridiculous.

Does a tree falling in a forest make a sound if nobody is there to hear it? Nobody has challenged the assertion. I would say beyond reasonable doubt. You did watch all of the questioning I assume? If there was any chance she had been drinking that would have been too big an opportunity for Kavanaugh to overlook.

In any case please explain this clever mockery of which you speak

Like I said, victim blaming. On a naive 15 year old girl. Deeply shameful.
