Despite his size I don’t think Sorloth is a very good replacement/alternative to Benteke. Parish overseas an unusually productive transfer window??? Dream on.

He may well be looking more glum, at times, than I remember him being last season but to jump to your conclusion defies belief. Rethink or think first. Originally posted by the silurian
Have we actually got any strikers? Doesnt seem like it, all hopeless, Benteke couldnt hit a cows arse with a banjo, Sorloth out of his depth, Wickham never was prolific and never will be.....Roy just wants out, not interested any more other than as a payday!

Luka a decent shout for top scorer, again, may demonstrate the brilliance of our 'strikers'.

Well, for someone that's just hanging around until payday he seemed to have done a load of work on the training ground to achieve the result we did yesterday.

Sorloth had his best game in a Palace shirt and that includes vs Swansea. He won his headers, he showed good close control and he broke quickly. Also as he cannot be knocked off the ball by a gust of wind, he beats Ayew in that department. He is nowhere near the finished article, and we must spend in Jan, but for now I hope Roy gives Sorloth a run. As for the signings, could we please just sign players that the manager actually wants to play? Not too much to ask I guess?

His whole demeanour on the touchline, stands hands in pockets looking bored, makes no subs (until Sunday) and just generally looks fed up with life!! OK OK maybe I got it wrong but plenty of people were calling for his head a week or two back!! Like I said, it's opinions, everyones is different!! Hopefully he'll turn things round now, we will see!
