All season you have defended Benteke and taken digs at Townsend, season ends and now you want to sell Townsend due to lack of goals. Thats some funny s***. I said Townsend can easily be replaced, not I wanted to sell him. The fact is his goal return is poor for a winger/striker.

Easily to replace with a player of similar stats but Andros offers much more to the team than stats. His work rate is tremendous and he fits in very well to the system Roy played for the most part last season. I am glad he is going nowhere

For me Andros is a very important part of the team structure. RH has said clearly we are not selling so for me this is great news. Andros works hard tracking back and also creating space for others. 3 years on his contract and I hope he see's it out.

Andros players deeper on the right than wilf does imo, when wilf was a winger. And even more so when he was looking after bissaka

I don't see it as the manager's job to act as an interface between club and fans, personally. Everything has to be instant and immediate these days, aided by the disease that is "social media". I fondly remember the days when our chief source of information was "Shoot" or "Charles Buchan's Football Monthly".

In the late 50`s/ 60`s there were only 2 things in any given week that interested me. Palace`s match, and getting my copy of said publication.
