Is an apparent lack of self awareness, as demonstrated, willful or born of psychological issues? Either way, it's disturbing. You have had enough yellows to open a custard factory.

adding to my comment about the family nucleus and benefits I think housing ties into this also!! back in the 70's houses could be mortgaged on one salary now we need two earners and that still leaves things tight in many instances!! The reason I mention housing is because I think people should have that feeling of ownership and something to work hard for and have something to show for your money. A lot of the poor are feeling left behind and resentful which I don't blame them!! Whilst increasing the population they have cut police numbers, cut pay, starved our local services so what was the point !! The poor have seen no benefit other than sky high housing and less wages !! no wonder they are pissed!!!

They talk about Blair and war crimes.....personally he and the politicians before and since should do time for shafting the working class out of affordable homes.

The Left is, by default, actually far more fixed in their views, and although they proclaim themselves as the champions of any and every minority, the reality is that eventually, the social conservative values of almost all such ethnic groups will cause them to haemorrhage their support. Anybody with even the most basic understanding of what Left-wing politics are meant to represent can see the glaring hypocrisy in their championing of a growing Islamic population and what that has to mean for British politics as a whole. Its an alliance of pure convenience and when that comes to a logical conclusion, then it will blow up in their respective faces. But a cosmopolitan Conservative alliance, with traditional values such as the family unit being at the heart of how we wish our society to function, is promoted as the ideal and all this LGBT nonsense resisted and they can be won over and then the real problem, which is a form of mass hysteria within our public services, can be addressed. Because that is the real cancer in our society and the threat to our way of life.

That's not evidence; you're not proving a correlation. There is a demographic change in London, you suspect it's down to reason A, but there is also reasons B-Z - you have no evidence that it is down to reason A, in the majority of cases, you just think it is. If I have a £300k budget to buy a house; I can buy a studio flat in Lewisham, or I can buy a 2bed house somewhere in greater London.. Hence, despite my love of Lewisham, I would go and buy the 2bed house elsewhere. I suspect that's a far more common scenario than people deciding to leave London because of the demographic, but like you, I can't prove It. Yeah. I strongly suspect this article is closer to the underlying reasoning. If you'll take the time to read it...

That is a scary article and was 5 years ago. I think it's desperately sad, really. But based on some of the posters here, I am mourning something that never existed, or (even if it did), was s***ter than what we have now. What a racist I am.
