We could go and sign a player for 30m and he gets injured and out for a year. Bolasie as an example for Everton. Well he did say 3 seasons. It was 142 league minutes in 15/16 and still only 729 the year before. TBH his goals and assists don't match the hype either

so who pays the signing on fee? We do so its not "for nothing " Probably a signing on fee for Guaita as well Originally posted by dazza
I posted this on my WhatsApp Group back on the 2nd of June. Looks like Palaces 2nd signing of the summer is going to be Jack Wiltshire on a free transfer. I have been told it’s a 4 year contract with a £5m signing on fee. If true this means we have picked up 2 players for nothing that would have cost us between 30 to 40m in the current window. What great business.

How much did we paid for Wickham and the game time he has had since we bought him. If it is true and we have offered Wilshere a 5m signing on fee, then I think this is a great bit of business by the club. The squad is weak in depth, if Cabaye does sign this contract offer to him and I believe it been reported on less playing time then I can’t see a better way of keeping Wilshere fit by replacing him with Cabaye later on in games.

It seems a possibility. I'm warming to the idea.

Would absolutely love us to get him. He's well worth the injury risk in my opinion because if he can stay fit and get back into form, he's still England's best midfielder.

Secondly, England have really s***e central midfielders. Henderson, Dier, Delph are all pretty average to compare against, and I’d argue they are all (a lot) better than Wilshere anyway. For some reason, people rate Wilshere. What has he ever done? Given the ball away a lot.

Are people aware that Wilshire played more games than our very own Wilfred Zaha last season. Just saying.

Can't believe people don't want a player of Wilshere's quality in our team. He is a brilliant player and would make us stronger.

Injury prone, always has been, always will be. Even during a good run of consecutive games, the commentators were saying he was never far from an injury and needs to be managed through the season. When we’re talking about paying a payer the same as Wilf, he needs to be a darn sight better than Wilshere. Add in that he’s rarely fit and not even that great even when he is fit. I really don’t understand this one. In short, I’m not his biggest fan :0)
