Then look for players so that we have at least 2 good players in each position. Ward turned down extension under FDB (and he was player most damaged by FDB tenure)so i think there is a good chance he will be offered and accept a new contract. I agree about Cabaye and Kelly. Sako is wanted by Wolves and it will depend on Money. RLC the question is will Chelsea sell (or loan with right to buy)? If not we should look elsewhere as why develop a player for another team. Jules my heart says give a coaching job but my brain says if the new keeper is to succeed he needs to be off payroll for a period. I wonder if Cavalieri will stay as Number 3 or will we pick up a young player from a lower league? Damo will be found a coaching role with one of junior teams. I wonder if Rakip will stay it was a strange loan and then not to play perhaps he was seen as "one for the future" Mutch has an extended loan in Vancouver so we will not see again. A few other players may move on possibly Souare, KaiKai, Williams and Puncheon. With Souare it depends if Roy thinks he can regain full fitness and/or he rates Schlupp as a defender or a left winger (or both) KaiKai has not fulfilled potential and if kept will block players like Kirby, Lokilo, Flanagan and Lumeka. Williams needs to move on as he will never make it which is a great shame. Puncheon is no longer what we need.

He hasn't got near playing for the first team and did not play for the U23's last night. Admittedly I haven't seen much of the U23's but watched all of last night's game and it did not look like Kaikai would be blocking any potential first team player. Kirby reminds me of Tom Huddlestone - sprays a good ball around but does not offer much more. Lokilo is like a young Wilf - skillful but likes to just continually beat people with no end product. Lumeka was anonymous. Flanagan did remind me of RLC at times with his breaks forward but was in and out of the game. They all need some more development time and unfortunately the Premiership is a harsh proving ground in that respect. Jach looked like he could develop into a decent player but looked disinterested half the time and did not seem to be commanding the defensive line as I would have thought he would with his experience.

we need to keep the following... kelly that keeps the base of our squad together, if we cant sign RLC then we sign another attacking mid. let sako go, let lee go that saves us prob 80k a week. looking forward to next season, all we need to do is add 2 quality players to the squad!

Agreed. There's a lot of talk about getting rid of decent prem quality players on here. I think Mutch and Delaney are worth moving on. Everyone else is worth keeping, unless we can significantly upgrade. Even players like Puncheon and Chungy are decent squad players at this level.
