Murray was sold too early Parrish admitted as much. He would have scored 15 and seen us safe Benteke will be lucky to hit 5

See how Murray was running around closing defenders down. Roy should show that to Benteke that is how to lead the line.

No, I specifically compared their Premier League goals in my post. I said "disregard the Championship goals". You're just being unfair here or bad intended or you can't read.

Those only "3 more goals", as you say, scored by Gayle came in 1300 minutes, not 1900, as Benteke has had (that's 50% more playing time).

He also didn't cost the club £30million quid!! for the pleasure.

Forgive me for nor reading this entire thread.
Glenn Murray's Mrs went on SM and said that Glenn wants to leave if he isn't guaranteed 1st team football. Pardew said he wasn't, the club sold him. He's moved on twice, a lot of our fans (including myself) haven't.

Likewise re entire thread, all I know is Murray was the main reason got promoted & deserved to be given the chance, once fit, to lead the line in the prem. His game reading ability was the best we had in a striker for a very long while. Benteke never will reach his level of game understanding or motivation. I sent an email to the club the day we sold Murray asking if we were trying to get ourselves relegated. Still think we won’t but it is so frustrating watching Murray today & knowing what’s Benteke will produce tomorrow evening.

Who would you prefer in the squad right now - him or Mutch??
The answer is easy.
He was Pardewed !!!!!!!!!!!!!

1000%. The lack of respect showed in his departure by Pardew and disappointingly some of our fans is terrible.

I was loath to come on her today because I knew it would be full of the "boo hoo Brighton beat Arsenal thanks to Glen Murray" brigade. And I was right.
Hindsight is a wonderfull thing. Murray proved Brighton wrong when they let him come to us and his goals fired us into the prem. And he has proved us and Bournmouth wrong by scoring goals that look like they could keep Brighton up. s*** happens ... football is not an exact science .... if you have to blame someone blame Pardew.

Don't worry - I do blame Pardew - for that and a lot more!
It might even be his fault that it snowed last week to be honest

Wow!!

To think WBA sacked Pulis who would have kept them up and appointed plonker Pards who is guaranteed to take them down.At least they will occupy one of the relegation spots come season end.

As Murray is the top scoring Englishman this year, being reported that he may get a call up to the England squad by Southgate.
Hang your head in shame Pardew and others behind the hair brained decision to sell him for peanuts!!

I would pay Brighton £4mil and have him back tomorrow.
He and Gayle up front would be a good combination.
And we wonder where it all went wong!
And there is our manager saying he doesn't know too much about MU and by chance we're playing them tonight!
Surprises are always nice but a foregone conclusion...!
Well it comes down to absolute loyalty.
