FFS Silva again. Watford have points on the board and many more they have a chance of winning. I think you can excuse him not delivering at Chelsea. Wagner is a very good tactician. Plays to the players' strengths, same as our best managers. It's when we deviate away from that it goes badly wrong. We need to have our eyes on more than half a dozen possibilities, especially the size of the play off places.

Well he cannot win with you can he. Yes!! Exactly, you seem to see what I am saying 100% here. Pardew was sacked way too late, it was ridiculous that he stayed around after that Swansea game, or at least he should have been gone right after the Cup Final. Also yes Parish's treatment of De Boer was nothing short of scandalous. Yes, he fired De Boer way too early. So he fired Pardew way too late, and then fired De Boer way too early, both statements are true. Both were mistakes, errors of judgement, bad calls. That is what Parish does over and over again.
Trump lost. Badly. Hahahahahahaha. |

I wanted Frank to succeed but actually the bad call was the appojntment which even I can now see. But making the situation right by sacking him had to be done surely? Yes that looks like we've only given him a short spell but if he was such a terrible appointment and they realised that then surely we can't lambast Parish for sacking him. For hiring him yes and believing he'd adapt us slowly, with hindsight it's a huge mistake, without hindsight it's probably a huge mistake. That was the error though, not sure why people then complain we didn't give him long enough. Would have set the team back further in my opinion. But hey it's another stick to beat Parish with I guess. But that's it that's all it appears to be when people moan Frank was given enough time. We have no striker! That's the issue that's killing us right now. Ok we gave up time at the beginning of the season with the wrong appointment to and that can be critised but the sacking was surely needed.. and likely a week overdue.

Agree, leaving us so exposed with just 1 fit striker when the window closed was the biggest Parish blunder of them all

With the budget we had, the fact that we wanted to sign Sakho, the fact that De Boer wanted to get Reidewald, Loftus Cheek and Fosu-Mensah in early(ish) meant that it was always going to be difficult to sign a striker
