It's poor football, bit like the Scottish Premiership. We just have to pretend it is important. The coverage of it does not represent the real level of interest.

May be more popular than you realise and growing;

"A record 130,000 girls and women have taken part in FA Girls' Football Week in 2016.
More than 80,000 people have taken part in this week’s activity, almost four times the original target, while 50,000 people participated in April's Girls' Football Week.
The total was announced at an event in Birmingham, organised by Aston University and Walsall College, where more than 100 local students took part in football sessions.
FA head of women's football Baroness Sue Campbell and England Women assistant coach Marieanne Spacey attended the event, along with Birmingham City duo Kerys Harrop and Emily Westwood, taking part in a Q&A session with the participants.
Universities, colleges, schools, community groups, clubs and other organisations across England have put on 1,485 events throughout the current Girls' Football Week, which was created to drive female participation by encouraging academic and sports institutions and organisations to run football sessions. "

I'm not rubbishing women's football. I used to play Sunday League football in and around Croydon - great fun (most of the time). I just get irritated when it is rammed down our throat with TV coverage on a par with high level football just to make out it is on a par with top level men's football.

Seconded.

Women's football has its place but I object to this attitude that I should like it.

It's being promoted heavily, far more in excess to its popularity.....because people in leadership positions think we should like it.

I have come to the conclusion that you right-wingers on here just always see yourselves as victims.

And now you are a victim of ladies football

What are you lot like?

It all about money.
Have you not noticed that SKY will show anything if they can get people to watch it?

That was funny....I'll give you that.

I've been a ref in a couple of after work ladies matches in the past as a favour.

Wouldn't actually want to watch it in any serious capability.....and I don't believe you would either.

You need to be more honest Kermy.

Are you going with your Japanese mate who backs you up on all the opinions you have about Japan?

Hopefully I'll get to embarrass you on the arm wrestling thing at some point....but it won't be watching those wonderful creatures chase a football.

Women's sport is a good thing....but it's not for me.

I'm content for manly patriots like you to watch it.
