Also some on here will remember the general feeling about possibly signing Sakho for 20m last Jan and fans were very unsure. It was a huge gamble for a player who people said looked shaky...look at how that turned out. Yep. Liverpool reject who had an attitude problem and wasn't even fit enough.....

Can you blame him.? We don't look like a great prospect to any descent pro looking for a move . A chairman who dithers and can't keep a manager . Something really wrong at the club at the moment . Well said

I'd agree if that 30m had been invested wisely. However it currently appears it'll be spent on panic buys in the final few hours of the window. I'll wait until the window is shut before passing judgement, but 'work to do' is an understatement at the moment. I completely agree that spending the entire budget on one player would be foolish but the most worrying thing is the lack of actual rumours. Tosun supposedly nonsense, Mangala supposedly not keen to come and has been poor wherever he's been up until now. The only solid rumour has appeared to be Niasse (grim). Haven't even been so much as linked with a GK - but no doubt Hennessey is good enough after 1 decent performance, that is until he provides another montage of shockers and leaves us all scratching our heads as to how he still hasn't been replaced after 3 years (apart from the Welsh palace fans).
We're the Arthur over ere! |

Mangala agrees not to come. Which no doubt was always our plan. Make an offer you know will be refused to look like you have another option.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Mangala Agreed ' by kenbarr Maybe less keen on coning if he wasn't going to be top dog. And when Sakho's in your team there's only one top dog.
