My contacts from Netherlands are telling me that this kid is 20 years old and was born on 9th September. There also telling me that he'll be playing football next season. They didn't tell me about he's free kick technique.

Johan do you think he'd be a good addition, notwithstanding that he's not the best Holland has to offer? yours is the only view that matters around here. frankly, I don't know why you haven't begun a 'Dutch Johan says' thread given the constant links being made with unknown Dutchies where you should, of course, be filling us in.

My opinion is only that of course, a personal opinion. I do understand I have seen a lot more of all the Dutch players then most people on here.
I will be honest I have my doubts. Would have loved to see Tete come as I would have been confident in him making the starting eleven yet he was in the same boat as Riedewald and did not have a regular place.
It is not just about quality, physical strength is far more important in the PL then it is in Dutch football. Now Inhave no doubt FdB is well aware of that too so of course we will have to trust his judgement but I simply am not sure that a player who never made it to a status of regular starter at Ajax, who has always been in teams that were very dominant and never physically challeneged and despite having a few caps is unproven internationally is what we need. A usefull addition to the squad perhaps, but in that case the fee seems high.

Still in holland according to someone on twitter. I would of thought the plan was to sign him before the flight to Hong Kong.

I've seen a lot of Ajax fans disappointed about losing Jairo but a few mentioned him not being mature enough to hold a regular prem place at cb. I wonder if we'd use at cdm

He was a regular starter for Ajax in FDB's last season until he broke his leg. Last season he broke into the Ajax first team in the second half of the season and was a starter against Manure in the Europa League Cup final

 

I have prepared one of my own time capsules. I have placed some rather large samples of dynamite, gunpowder and nitroglycerin. My time capsule is set to go off in the year 3000. It will show them what we are really like.
