The left consider everyone to their right to be racists.

We have now sunk to a depth at which the restatement of the obvious is the first duty of intelligent men. [Orwell]

Do you know how ridiculous that is?

Edit - your comment obviously.

George Wallace, Governor of Alabama four times between 1963-1987:

"It is very appropriate that from this cradle of the Confederacy, this very heart of the great Anglo-Saxon Southland, that today we sound the drum for freedom as have our generations of forebears before us time and again down through history. Let us rise to the call for freedom-loving blood that is in us and send our answer to the tyranny that clanks its chains upon the South. In the name of the greatest people that have ever trod this earth, I draw the line in the dust and toss the gauntlet before the feet of tyranny, and I say segregation now, segregation tomorrow and segregation forever."

“It’s a sad day in this country when you can’t talk about law and order unless they want to call you a racist.”

"We must not be misled by left-wing incompetent news media that, day after day, feed us a diet of fantasy telling us we are bigots, racists and hate-mongers.”

They can think what they like.
Strawman arguments and identity politics are all some people have it seems.

So you are saying that everyone in Alabama was a racist?
And you are comparing Alabama in the 60's to Britain in 2017?
And you think that George Wallace has anything to do with wanting to reduce immigration or encouraging people not to overreact to words?

Does anyone hear the sound of bitter?

I blame immigration. You've got so hung up on it you can't form reasoned arguments anymore.
