Wilshire would be great company for Wickham on the treatment table. Wilshire is a serious player though and would be worth it on a pay as you play basis. Not possible as, over a season, he'd be on less than the minimum wage.
Bexley Dave Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing! "The most arrogant, obnoxious bunch of deluded little sun tanned, loafer wearing mummy's boys I've ever had the misfortune of having to listen to" (Burnley forum) |

Of course what the stats dont tell you is the horrendous challenges he got in order to attain a number of those injuries, esp to his ankle and then the broken leg against Spurs who were allowed to kick him all over the park. He looks far far fitter than I've seen him for years and more robust and able to take the tackles now when playing. Should he stay fit he has undoubted quality that we need; but I accept that for us at the moment that's probably a stretch too far for the club.

And you've got all that from a single PL appearance and a couple in the LC? Apart from anything else, I'm surprised that you take such an interest in the minutiae of what goes on at Arsenal. Were these all TV games then?

On his day when fully fit he can be world class but I wouldn"t like to see him join us because he is too injury prone! We already have a worse version of him in Joniesta & its a shame both of them can"t stay fit for a long period of time because it has stuttered their careers.

He bossed the game last night...good for England but means we no longer have a chance of getting him....should've seen the signs earlier and gone for him when he was wanting to leave!

If we could get him for 10 million plus Benteke We are desperate for a midfield general. Cabaye is ok but now lasts only 70 minutes and does not have the calmness, vision (or ability) of Jack. With Wilshere playing we would not need Benteke and could buy back Gayle who thrives on through balls to feet.

Wouldn't go near JW with a barge pole his too injury prone and would spend more time on the fitness table than Connor Wickham and that's saying something
