OK, I've now listened to some of the HOL radio podcast. The show was hosted by Terrance. He interviewed a 'Philpot' who had 1500 loyalty points, but said he had a ticket for Brighton via a relative who was in the HF. Didn't hear the HF allocation

And as for the beamback. ? I feel like the club have used this exercise as a Rugby initiation ceremony.

I hope that anyone who wanted to go, but now can't because Palace took a meager allocation, wont be handing their hard earned cash over to Palace for the beamback. Perhaps that was why they done it, too get more people into Selhurst. Wouldn't surprise me at all.

They'll make a fair few quid that night through the bar for sure also consider that for the SP game they can sell the home seats for £15 more each because of the away ticket limit...

Maybe Philpot's HF relative has 6000 points but cannot make the Br*ghton game due to work commitments? As long as Philpot takes both his ticket and season card, then he will get in as the names on both will match Edited by dorking (03 Nov 2017 4.16pm)

Just reading a post on the BBS,saying hat palace tried to get the full allocation, but the police (both sussex and the met) agreed to the 2000 limit. Personally i think its absolute bollocks how do they do it for the big derbies,f***ing joke. Its f***ing brighton vs palace, not rangers celtic....w***ers of the first order
always a Norwood boy, where ever I live. |

Nothing to do with Police advice. The clubs agreed the allocations. Rangers/Celtic, Spurs/Arsenal, Liverpool/United/City don't have reduced allocations. Biggest game of the season and reduced allocation is out of order. Am sure the Prawn sarnie brigade get tickets.

The lower allocation had nothing to do with Palace. Brighton imposed it, supposedly on Police advise (it was advise, the Police didn't insist on it). Palace then reduced the allocation given to Brighton fans from 2600 to match the 2000 tickets we have been given. I would have thought that the police would have preferred to have Palace fans at the stadium rather than searching for them in the pubs of Brighton and Lewis.
It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses. |
