Please not Moyes, Sherwood or Clarke I would also take either from the Championship play off final based upon the current market... Edited by Winch Eagle (23 May 2017 9.33pm)

I am gutted to see Sam go. He done well in putting optimism and confidence back in to the club and would have made us solidly mid table in my opinion. He also would of got in good recruits for the squad. Next manager needs to be different than what we have had before. No more golden oldis or club icons. Someone who will see out a contract and has a fresh impetus. For me it has to be Lucien Favre, has a great footballing philosophy and is tactically savvy. Done well in Germany and France on smaller budgets. Everton apparently were interested in him before Koeman joined as well. If it was me Id offer him a good deal and time to build something at Palace. As for the rest Coleman etc their uninspiring and dull it will be the same as we have already had and we have ridden our luck in surviving the drop. I dont think we will again. So new man, new ideas and some longevity for me.

Typical Palace, just when things are looking up. At this point we may as well give it to anyone, It'll make no difference to our season. Let's give Speroni the step up... failing that, the first player through the door for training becomes manager. I'm also open for talks if Steve is reading

I'd much sooner be looking for someone from Europe. As long as it's not Pardew or Judas Bruce though...
