Oh Willo, the standard of refereeing is frighteningly dismall.

Peoples views should be respected, including yours.

However, the contemplation that the refereeing against palace is anything above poor must have started in your colon.

I argued that Willo should respect the views of those who had been wronged by these appalling decisions, in particular the fans of the club he reckons he supports, but that suggestion seems to have fallen on deaf ears.

Indeed I respect people's views even though I might fervently disagree with them.

At least I argue my 'Case' free from personal insults.
Sometimes invective and hysterical rhetoric takes the place of calm and reasoned debate but at the end of the day we are all Palace supporters who follow our great club with a real passion.

Sometimes I come across as strident and fiesty but I never set out to offend anyone - If I HAVE it is by accident rather than by design and I offer my sincere apologies If indeed I have caused offence. Please don't take it personally !

Finally, all I ask is that you accept I am NOT "Trolling" or "Winding-Up", just giving you my honest viewpoints which I accept on occasions are not universally accepted.I am just being honest.

If you are making such an accusation about 'Yours Truly' then it is ridiculous and risble in equal measure and I shall treat it with complete disdain.

There might be others on HOL who fit this description but alas it isn't me I can assure you.

But well done for de-railing this thread with such errant bilge.

More rhetorical grandstanding.
You are rather partial to it on HOL.

I have nothing to do with the FA at all so I'm not following any 'Party line'.
All I ever do is try to understand situations from the officials perspective.
Sometimes they get it wrong
, most times they are right.
Sometimes decisions have gone in our favour, sometimes they haven't but overall the officials in the PL do a very good job.

Yet you NEVER actually state thet you think the referee got it wrong, do you? On Saturday, did the referee get several decisions wrong which could have affected the result?? Simple yes or no answer will do

Have you not read my posts ?
I have stated consistently that officials DO err from time to time so that answers your question Jeremy Paxman.

So you accept that 'Demotion' does occur based on performances. And so it should.

I shall treat all the 'Political clout' with derision.
If Mark had performed like Attwell he would have suffered the same consequences.

At the end of the day there is robust system for measuring the performances of PL referees after each and very game.
Each PL game is evaluated with scrutinisation of every decision using the match footage and 'ProZone' to measure the referee's performance in great detail. Match delegates assess the accuracy and consistency of decision making and their management of the game.
So yes there is a 'Forensic' analysis of the referee's performance after each and every game.

Exactly what good is that to us or any other "small"team that is wronged by these outrageous wrong "decisions"?? Do we get any points given back for referees cheating us?? NO WE DONT! So what is the point of forensically examining anything!!

No it doesn't. Did the officials get match changing decisions wrong in that particular game?

Yes or no.

Yes or no.

We lost because we were abject and conceded two poor goals.Don't try and deflect attention away from our performance by blaming officials.

Finally I have NO interrogation of being interrogated on here by impersonators of Jeremy Paxman.I have commented enough and my views are crystal clear.I don't have to respond to rhetorical questions and the like.
