Yes there is no need for people on here getting personal on here. His glass is simply a bit more half empty than others. I don't think he is a troll, he is simply looking at what could happen. I happen to disagree with him slightly because i really feel there is so much pressure on Swansea now and i don't think there next 2 games against West Ham and Watford, both away are easy. Even if they draw both, they would still be effectively 2 points behind us with only 5 games left. That is assuming we don't pick up any points in our next 2 games which would be a bit too pessimistic!!

Those would be games of them playing Stoke, Everton, United, Sunderland and West Brom, while Palace plays Liverpool, Tottenham, Burnley, Manchester City, Hull and Manchester United.

I see them getting 6-9 points out of those, while Palace would be lucky with 6.
So, if the difference after the next 2 games is only 2 points, it's going to be really close

Lets just take each game at a time, useless waste of energy and worry otherwise. Break it down into small segments in your mind as opposed to your doomsday scenario which has you already running for the hills.

As is constantly shown in this league on any given day any team can beat any other team, that's the beauty of the English Leagues.

I think it depends which Liverpool turn up when we play them. They have not been great at times this season, and were really lucky to beat Burnley at home recently. But when they play well, they can be unstoppable. But i fancy us to get a draw up there because of our great record against them. I'm hopeful we can draw against Arsenal and maybe nick a win against Leicester who might be distracted by their two champions league ties either side of our game against them. That's 5 points looking optimistically of course!!! which would leave us probably needing one more win which should come against either Burnley or Hull, but we may only need 2 draws. I think we can draw against Spurs at home, but most people are writing that one off which seems a bit negative to me. But i will agree that we cannot expect much up at both City and United

Great post bexleydave. Jesus! we have lost one game the other night and overall in the last 8 games we have won 5 times!! including 4 in a row before we lost to the Saints. I know i would rather be in our position than Swansea. They have played a game less and our goal difference is worth a point. Also they will be shattered from losing to Spurs after being 1-0 up after 88 minutes

We're not doomed by any means, but realistically there is reasonable cause for concern. Let's see how it all looks at 10 o'clock on Monday evening.

I disagree. It hasn't been constantly shown. Those have just been exceptions. That's why there are teams who make so many points to finish in Top 6 every season, because the others can't beat them any day

True, but would 2 draws really help? We need the 3 pointers against Leicester, Burnley and Hull. Draws ain't gonna cut it

Repeating yourself like a toddler is not arguing a case.

5pm Saturday will be a good indication, the teams around us have tough games.
