I'm sorry but a squad being paid what it is should not be drawing with Bolton. It's not snobbery, it's a reflection of the talent in our team and how much it's underperforming.

Remy put in a pleasingly good show, as did Lee, Delaney and Speroni. But the rest of the team played very poorly. No commitment, no passion, no desire. Cabaye's kicks dreadful. No obvious captain.

Mutch in particular was abysmal and for most of the match couldn't be arsed moving. He seemed to get quite a bit of stick from Delaney.

Absolute rubbish. Again.

TBF this is Mutch and Kelly's level. It's worrying quite how bad our squad is. If you pick our strongest 11 (there's still some players with ? marks over them I know), there's literally no one behind them pushing for a place in the team. Which is why we've slowly got worse and worse, no competition for places means play s***e...turn up again next week play s***e again and so on.

I really hope BS can uncover a few gems in this window. Left back obviously and a desperate need for energy and leadership in the middle of the park.

Please can Shanghai FC start bidding silly money for some of our players.

What you say is correct, however this is a team AP built and Sam cannot change it after just a couple of matches, clean sheet is the positive point and the bad point is that we failed to beat a team that we should be expected to beat easily. The current squad is depleted and poor Sam has hardly anyone decent to call upon in key area's (defence, creative midfield and a limited forward line). Hopefully, we will get some decent additions in the window then we may be able to scramble out of this mess but for me as soon as we are out the FA cup the better so the concentrate on what matter which is of course staying in the PL!

Yes I was shocked when I saw the prices on the Palace website !

We have to charge what Bolton have, FA Cup rules.

Just watched the "watered down " highlights and we were very fortunate to come from there with a draw although remy's sceond chance should of been slotted home rather than a gentle toe poke

With all the money being raked in by the club these days it would have been a nice gesture to charge £10 or even less for the replay.
As it is we are going to get an embarrassingly low gate, because only mugs like me are going to cough up £20.

understand only 11000 were at Hull today as a lot of fans stayed away in protest (at what I do not know!)

They have been protesting against the owners for a while now. Look on YouTube for the video of the Hull "Tigers" mauling. That should explain it.

If you come to a fork in the road, take it.

It's a funny protest against the proposed name change. The current owner started out well, but has thrown a strop as the fans didn't want a name change, change of colors, etc., The press reports make it sound like there are all kinds of problems behind the scenes: hence Bruce leaving, starting the season with 13 senior players, Phelan getting sacked, and a virtual unknown coming in to replace him.

Stupid argument.

Would mean that no side that was paid less or full of lesser players would ever get a result against better sides.

Its the Cup.

It happens. We're not out.

So wind your neck in.

Actually I would be delighted if we got 11,000 for the replay.

Just back from the game , living locally and there were some positives. Remy looked good and will I think work well with Benteke and Flamini was solid and Kelly was not out of place at centre back.
Our midfield of Chungy. Mutch and Ledley were dreadful no creativity at all. Campbell ran around like a headless chicken. Cabaye came on and made no impact. BFS has learnt we have no quality in the backup players. We had a lot of play as Bolton just stood off us but our lack of creativity and width meant we were unable to take advantage. Remember they are two divisions below us albeit in good form.
Nice touch at the end Flamini climbed over the barrier despite the protests from a steward and gave his shirt away and Jules threw his gloves into the crowd,
Apart from that we have a long way to go to keep in the Prem.
