Ought to be terrorising the defences he plays against. Saw Dean Saunders on Sky this morning talk about Ian Rush and how he was the best defender they had at Liverpool because he would second guess more often than not where the defenders would pass the ball then shut them down. Think how much work Andy Johnson used to put in! No doubting Benteke's skill but he has to add perspiration and aggression to his game but in the right way not like a headless chicken. Something which, I am sure Sam will address quickly. Add this and we will have a superb player on our hands.

Employee of the month is a good example of how someone can be both a winner and a loser at the same time. |

I think people are being too harsh on Bentekers. 8 in 16. great record so far. CB works hard for our team I've watched every game so far this season,(TV and matchdays) my one gripe is when we are attacking he is slow to get in the box (and his penalty style. Other than that we have a top class striker. Look how he was for Villa. Sam will get that form out of him I am sure. Just back the boys and back Sam. COYP!
Yannick Bolasie - Glenn Murray - Wilfried Zaha Most exciting attacking trio at Selhurst Park in years. |

No work rate? If he had no work rate, he wouldn't have won the penalty at Watford. Regarding pressing the back line, well that's generally up to the manager as to whether that happens, and since we had Pards, I'm by surprised he was unsure what to do.

No questions about his potential but he is lazy and needs to work the back four more, do you understand football?

SA will sort out the workrate of the team (defend from the front) and sort out our fitness (we drop off in the last 10 mins every game!).I'd rather have CB thanks scoring goals regularly. Time to stop leaking goals and win some games, starting on NYD at the Library. Now, that would be a great start to 2017!

Big fan of both Murray and Gayle but they are not in the same league as CB (literally). He has 8 goals in 16, that's 1 in 2, and he's missed two pens.....granted shouldn't take pens anymore, but bar that he is class.
