The players will decide. If they wear their heart on their sleeve and play for him he will be reprieved, if they don't then it's taxi time.

After the weekend, I want Pardew gone, Swansea was a shambles.

But.

Why sack him now with no obvious replacement? The general consensus seems to be that Millen has to go too. So not even a caretaker available (though my rates are very reasonable)

Give him two games, in the meantime do what is needed and should AP not deliver, we can have a new manager by the time Manure visit.

No point in rushing this.

Exactly this, what is Parish going to do, sack AP and staff and who takes over?? he will surely have his feelers out and will have someone in the wings once his decision is made.

...not necessarily.

I admire your positivity and I shared it before the weekend but after last weeks performance, a poor first half will heap the pressure on and you will hear the crowd turn.

I am not saying we need to be winning, we do need to be playing well though.

the dignified don't even enter in the game

He should have had his feelers out 2 months ago. Parish is playing a dangerous game here. I absolutely guarantee you AP wont be manager at the end of the year, so why wait? Feelers should have been out there absolutely yonks ago, have you checked our form in 2016?

Trump lost. Badly. Hahahahahahaha.

Maybe he has? but his new target maybe in employment or not available, when AP goes the old boys act have to go to. It's going to be messy..

I said it yesterday parish does it every single time. Dithers, gives people far too long then inevitably brings in someone decrepit / rubbish / or on the cheap and tries to scrape by. What's with all the pissing about. Prick

Rectiloquism.

Need a damn slight more than a slight tweek,we need a miracle to keep a clean sheet against an accomplished side like Southampton.
With our catastrophe defending,Charlie Austen must be licking his lips with the prospect of an easy hatrick against us on Saturday.

What are you taking, the team is a shambles and the very least we need is a quality goalkeeper, defender and a midfielder who can link the defence and attack. The only way we can stop teams scoring at the moment is to get a bricklayer to build a wall across the palace gaol in each half, this extra delay is making it impossible for whoever takes over, sorry but SP is doing his usual dithering!

Nah. Realistically it's going to take that long to sort out a successor so one might as well put up with him in the meantime. If he gets his s*** together, all well and good, but if - when - he gets his jotters we're in a position to bring in the new coach. OTOH an interregnum may not actually be worse than tow more weeks of this s***.

I'm not sure if Pardew meant "a year of transition" from Premiership manager to dole queue.
