But pride wouldn't come into the equation over 7 figures. Can't blame him though. A contract is a contract and it's mostly sky subscribers and American and SE Asia tv money anyway.

He's a fVcking cretin and the aggressive defence of him on this board is a joke. ..actual players can see the silly sloppy mistakes that are being made have nothing whatsoever to do with any manager, fans who want to blame him just don't like an honest former Palace man trying his hardest to make his team play as a unit, today again one half did the other didn't, not Pardews fault ..and I'm not defending him.

I do. There's a few factors the hate brigade will cling too, however there are also factors which constantly get ignored in favour of pards. If individual errors are always in the hands of the manager, then there's a case for him to go. If players are accountable then there's little argument imo, that's where the bad luck has come in (injuries, disruption, lack of balance and quality in squad). It's fine margins football, yet, despite all the good he's done he's getting blasted. It's the culture we live in unfortunately, a results business. A win would have seen us mid table, yet the level of vitriol towards pards is collosal. It's proper mail reading hate campaign stuff, few of you seem balanced within any kind of perspective, nor do you recognise any guaranteed solutions. Even if I thought it may be time to look at a replacement, Id do so with the memory of cup finals, goals and entertainment in mind. Ease off Edited by rawpalace05 (26 Nov 2016 7.04pm) I agree things are not great but would rather not join a lynch mob. We have been incredibly unlucky. Time to get the priest in again.

Then Wickham did his leg in and as a unit the players fell apart defensively ....how Cabaye managed to let the ball in at the far post was just mindblowing. The players let Pardew down yet again and some obviously need shooting to put them out of their misery.

Swansea second goal was shocking and the fact they scored their 3rd so quickly afterwards. Says to me an utter shambles. For us to recover from that , get back in front and squander the lead for the second time in the game and then lose its f***ing criminal. Said it on other threads. Kamikaze football. Edge of your seat stuff for sure but not something which can be allowed to continue and I would have been of that opinion even if we had won. We can't be winning games in this sort of fashion. We will go down if we don't do something quickly.
