The defending in the last 2 seasons was nowhere as bad as it is now. Mandanda should have done better for the 2nd but he was completely exposed.

Adrian and De Gea have both had shockers in the last few games - both were instrumental last season - point with WH and AM (particularly the latter) was a fundamental flaw in concentration and ability to carry out the basics which led to multiple errors and some of those led to goals. Steeeve looks a better bet than Wayne in my opinion but just doesn't look like he is going to be what I'd hoped, someone who can fill the big boots Speroni created. I'm not saying I want Speroni back - although I would like to see him have a shot - we need a permanent replacement who can see us through the next 4 + seasons.
