I'm kinda glad they've scored tbh.
We really were poor at times and 4-0 flattered us massively.
Anyway, 3pts and a solid 'mid-table' position after a slow start.
Roll on Southampton.

Is there something wrong with you?

Flamini was dreadful. Hope it's just rust and not what we got.

Is this your one comment on the game?

Most certainly not European.

Pardew out

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

Great result and great performance from Palace. Congratulations Lads!

They were never poor! For the first time in years they are passing instead of hoofing. Zaha is playing differently - did you notice there was no flashy stuff? It's all about end product now and Zaha is stepping up. We have finally arrived as a PL team! Got a very confident keeper in Mandanda - he plays as part of the team and has enormous self-belief. Could have been 5 - 0.
Stoke are no push-overs - I expected them to use this match as a starting block. Nice to see a quality goal from Townsend too. Very happy!

Great result, so dangerous in the air today from set pieces.

But we do have periods when we let the opposition back in the game in terms of possession. Better sides will make use of it and punish us.

I hope we still have some forward momentum left for Sunderland next week and Wednesday night down at the Dell!

A result we'd have taken any day of the week. Let's concentrate on the positives.

Zaha actually has some passing ability and was making cracking decisions moving the ball around quickly and while it didn't happen every single time, that is something I have never ever seen him do. It is great news that he already looks settled in the new style and him and Townsend look far more suited to this system then Bolasie would have in my opinion.

Andros was on another level today, him and Macca were a class above.

Fullbacks made a couple of errors and probable overcommitted when the game was safe at 3 - 0 but on the whole very solid, decent performance and some good balls in and Runs from Kelly who is better known for his defending.

CBs no issues, won the game for us early but the goal at the end was a bitter pill to take, least it will hopefully keep them focused as Stoke were given a couple of opportunities they would have taken on another day. Good performance though, Dann is a monster.

Great to see Ledley back in the team, I thought he'd only be a squad player from now in but he has been great.

Benteke's hold ups were great although he did't have a busy game didn't really get any chances.

Late Subs - Lee looks tidy now, decent option.
Flamini needs to get up to speed, think he will look better after a start. Should both play in the cup.

We couldn't beat the sh1t teams last season. This is progress. Looked in control for the most part and an attacking threat from different areas of the pitch. Room for improvement but this is a very positive step and a real confidence boost result.
