The immigration spokesman who tweeted that is a total muppet. On that we can agree. But that sort of thing does appeal to a sizable demographic I'd wager.

The business of politics is to win votes and way you can, but pandering to knuckle draggers is unbecoming of a credible campaign. Sadly, all the parties pander to their own target idiots to some degree, it's just that for UKIP this is particularly unhelpful to their reputation in an environment where the liberal media bend over backward to discredit them.

Is this the sort of campaigning they should do then? Edited by nickgusset (17 Feb 2017 12.53pm) Attachment: Screenshot_20160618-114646.png (719.01Kb)

Labour campaign leaflet in Copeland: 'Babies will die if you vote Tory'. Straight from the front line. We've already seen Theresa May Bluster her way through an interview without saying the maternity wing there (or anywhere) will be safe [Link] I'd say the lives of babies could be put at risk. Bit crass though but not untrue.

I suppose it's better than facing facts. Mass immigration is bad for everyone except corporations fat cats in the long term.

Whether or not that is your position, it's not very good for an immigration spokesman for any political party to send an islamophobic and racist image via twitter. Hardly paints the party in a good light does it?
