Good question actually legal, the Celebrity/Entertainment world is full of people who have been forgiven by the public at large for a fistful of actaul crimes, and yet they still have their jobs. I mean take Stan Collymore as an example full on wife beater, and yet he is a popular media figure in footbal. And the list of stars that have been caught snorting the devils dandruft is as long as your arm. But most if not all still have careers. strange... They were never married.

I didn't realise that all their contracts on Top Gear are up soon, and they were due to sign new 3 year contracts. BBC are in a very difficult situation now. If they sack Clarkson, then May and Hammond can walk as well very soon. What are the odds that Sky are lining up a megabucks offer of a new show ? A show they could potentially sell around the world. BBC follow rules and potentially lose millions. That could mean they can no longer finance other shows that they make. Dilemma, eh ?

Remember the tale about Jezza telling Kate Moss, who didn't have a scooby who he was, that he did Top Gear. She replied, 'I'm off the drugs.'

No they're not as they've CHOSEN to magnify what appears to be a relatively minor incident because they are on the back-foot. Two people having a row at work is hardly news.

A family who witnessed the Top Gear presenter's outburst tells Sky he engaged in an expletive-ridden rant for up to half-an-hour.

The BBC do have a bit of a bargaining chip with May and Hammond as they both do their own thing on TV as well as Top Gear although I suppose they could also do other stuff for Sky too

As I understand it, Clarkson was on a "Final warning".IF he has struck a producer as reported then the BBC have no option but to terminate his services. In any other walk of life this would be the case in similar circumstances.

Fed up with BBC interference he can walk away and set up another show on Sky/ITV which would replace Top Gear's world dominance instantly.

Perhaps that's why their report is so anti Clarkson because the crew that were filming with him and were there at the so called "fight" told an entirely different story it was reported?
Supported Palace for over 69 years since the age of 7 and have seen all the ups and downs and will probably see many more ups and downs before I go up to the big football club in the sky. |
