Alien Abduction on sky movies, do not watch this absolute pile of stinkin horse sh1t (and piss) of a movie, how the f*** you can make such a sh1t film based on an intrigueing true story is beyond me, the script writer must've been a meth head mid 48 hour bender.

This film is sh1t on a whole new level.

Salvatore Giuliano - a re-watch in memory of Francesco Rosi's death earlier this month.

Fantastic - not hard to see why it's in Scorsese's top ten.

No more Status Quo

That would devastate the chap in this documentary: [Link]

Methinks you'll enjoy both of the above films, Superfly.

I'd seen the reissue of Salvatore Giuliano floating about but after your nod last week it was added to my wishlist Sound it out is brand new to me but sounds right up my street! Will almost certainly be in my next batch or orders. Cheers Nana

Kingsman: The Secret Service

Colin Firth's suave secret agent cracking a pint glass over a chav's head in a London pub, Sameul L Jackson as a scene-stealing lisping bad guy, Mark Strong's convincing Scot accent, enough classic spy movie homages to make Bond fans happy and cracking set pieces make Bond look like Sesame Street.

8/10

Rumble Fish 8.578/10

First time I've seen it in about 20 years and this time I think I got it, well most of it anyway. It has its flaws (Rusty James' out of body experience made the Wizard of Oz look like Toy Story 3) but still a terrific film. The fish were in Palace colours too.

On the Buses, Mutiny on the Buses and Holiday on the Buses.

There is the Godfather trilogy, then the Star Wars trilogy but neither come close to the leering antics of two 50 year old men who want to f*** barely legal bus conductresses.

8/10 Purely for the peerless Michael Robbins as Arthur and for Wilfred Bramble acting his arse off as a screaming heterosexual in 'Holiday' trying to get into Doris Hare's undergarments

sash, funny enough me and another painter were discussing the 'it was the 70's' type thing with 'on the buses'
no show was complete without clippys or school girls & leering.
They were hammer films biggest grossing films surprisingly enough, used to earn buckets at the cinema.
my dads a dead ringer(although slightly less chubby) version of stan the driver.

last film I saw however was 'race with the devil' 70's Satanist type fare with warren oats & peter fonda.
very tame now, but good fun in a hammer horror way.
