Difficult to see how this Palace side will score goals. No quality striker in the side.

We need to look at changing the formation to score goals...our top goalscorer is effectively playing midfield at the moment

Yep that's about it...If we can find a way to get Cham up front with someone playing off of him

This has been a tactical nightmare by Pulis. Why play a 5 man midfield with a centre forward as one of the 5?. Better to have left Jerome out and played Bannan from the start.

And I think swapping Puncheon and Bolaisie has exposed Ward because Bolaisie doesn't cover as well as Puncheon.

To be fair, it's our standard formation. When going forward Chamakh is second striker. When defending is part of midfield. No complaints from me. Only issue is Jerome starting ahead of Gayle. I presume this is done because of Jerome's strength and ability to hold ball up. Problem is he doesnt score. Ever.

..and the problem is he isn't in any kind of barren spell. He just never looks like scoring

Pulis lined up far too defensively. He was vain to think we could force a 0-0. We should have gone for it.

I agree...maybe its time for a change of thinking. For games against those in teh top 10 we should pretty much go for it!

Easy to say in hindsight but I think we would have got destroyed going for it. Compare Norwich v Man city to Palace v Man City for evidence of that. Better to go 0-0 and then try and strike on break or set piece against a team like Arsenal.
