Does anyone remember way back, prob 70s or 80s, going to millwall, think we drew 1-1, palace fans on the half way line, singing to the wall fans "we all pi$$ in a blue and white pot, a blue and whit pot etc", at the end of the game they came on the pitch to chuck bottles and stones etc......they must have been upset, poor lambs!

We are the Palace,
The pride of the south.
We got all the boots
And we got all the mouth.
We only drink whiskey
And bottles of brown.
The Palace boys are in town.
La la la la la La la la la

From the 70s in Holmesdale, any old gits remember this one?

To the tune of On Top of Old Smokey

I bought an ol' 'andbag and filled it wiv lead
And hit my old lady right over the head
Along came a copper and he asked me my name
I gave him the answer wiv a bicycle chain
The judge said sit down boy and dry up your tears
You're going to borstal for 2 or 3 years
I counted the moon beams I counted the stars
I counted ten faaahsand thru those prison bars
If I was the warden and the warden was me
I'd wake up one morning and set myself free
But I aint the warden and the warden aint me
So I'll have to stay here til my liberty
Liberty!

terrible...lol!

You still occasionally hear this sung at away games, a personal favourite of mine.

Imagine the whole of the Lower Holmesdale singing this, with scarves up like Hey Jude...would put the Kop to shame!

If punk ever happened I'd be preaching the law, instead of listenin to Lydon lecture BBC4

always used to consider it a total scud, when we'd start singing the 'jingle bells' song when winning away.

Kids, tired of being bothered by your pesky parents?
Then leave home, get a job & pay your own bills, while you still know everything.
